What customers are saying about Margaret's drums

I honestly thought free-plus-shipping had to be a catch. Three days later it was on a stump in the backyard, and the first storm had my husband and me at the kitchen window for forty minutes without a word. There was a handwritten note in the pouch. I kept it.

Every guest asks where the sound is coming from. It lives on our patio table now and it's the quiet star of every coffee. The 432Hz tuning is real — you can hear it.

Carol J., Athens, GA

Set it on the balcony rail and forgot about it — until it started to rain. Now I actually look forward to the gray days. Softer than any tongue drum I tried before.

Rebecca C., Boulder, CO

It has been out on the stone wall in every kind of weather for months. No rust, the tone has not changed at all. You can feel the handwork the moment you pick it up.

How is each drum actually made?

Every drum is hand-tuned by Margaret in a small wooden shed at Oak Creek, three miles south of Sedona. Carbon steel with a pearl-flecked finish, nine notes in a pentatonic scale, tuned by ear to A=432Hz against a river stone she has carried in her apron since 2021. Each one ships with a handwritten note tucked inside the cloth pouch.
