How is it made?
How is it made?
Every piece starts as plain stoneware. I hand-shape each petal, leaf, and swirl separately and press it into the clay before the mug is ever fired — nothing is molded flat or added with a decal. Once it comes out of the kiln, I hand-paint each raised shape in glaze, color by color, then fire it a second time to set the finish.
